Job summary

The Delaney at Lake Waco is seeking a hospitality-focused Dining Room Server to join our culinary team. This role performs full-scope serving duties within the community, delivering warm, attentive service to residents and guests.

Part-time and full-time opportunities are available, with a starting wage of $14.00 per hour. You’ll work in a welcoming environment that values compassion, teamwork and a commitment to excellence in elder care.

Qualifications

• High school sophomore year completed as minimum requirement.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.
• Drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and items graciously and courteously.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.
