Join our Dining Services team as a Server and help create memorable dining experiences for our residents every day. In our community, mealtime is about much more than food—it's a time for connection, conversation, and enjoying time together.

What You'll Do
As a Server, you'll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming, and enjoyable dining experience for our residents.
Your day may include:
- Welcome residents to the dining room with a friendly and positive attitude
- Prepare the dining room for each meal service
- Set tables and ensure the dining room is clean, organized, and inviting
- Offer residents beverages before meals and throughout their dining experience
- Ensure condiments and other dining necessities are available
- Participate in pre-meal meetings and tastings to learn about the day's menu
- Become familiar with menu items, daily specials, and special diet accommodations
- Take residents' meal orders and make sure orders are accurate before serving
- Serve meals in an attractive and timely manner
- Provide meals by course whenever possible
- Check on residents throughout the meal to make sure they have everything they need
- Offer alternatives when appropriate and communicate resident preferences or concerns to the kitchen
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage Director, Dining Room Supervisor, cooks, nursing staff, and fellow team members
- Be attentive to changes in residents' eating habits and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate care team member
- Respond appropriately and promptly to resident needs during meal service
- Clean and reset the dining room between meals
- Wipe tables, chairs, and other dining surfaces
- Change tablecloths and refresh dining areas as needed
- Keep dining room floors clean and safe
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain proper uniform, personal hygiene, and grooming standards
- Participate in opening, closing, set-up, and clean-up duties
- Assist with other dining and community responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous restaurant, hospitality, dining, customer service, or senior living experience is a plus
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be comfortable working with older adults and individuals who may have cognitive or physical limitations
- Must be dependable and able to work scheduled shifts
- Must be willing to work a combination of weekday and weekend shifts
- Must successfully complete required training and comply with applicable health and safety requirements
Physical Requirements
This position is active and requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk throughout the workday
- Move throughout the dining room and kitchen areas
- Bend, reach, push, and pull as needed
- Lift and carry trays and supplies, including up to 25 pounds as required
- Safely perform dining room set-up and clean-up
- Work safely around food service equipment and cleaning products
- Assist with emergency evacuation procedures when necessary
