Postino is opening in Vernon Hills, IL, seeking friendly servers to deliver a full-service dining experience and ensure guests feel welcome from start to finish.

You will guide guests through ordering, input items into the POS, deliver meals, and settle payments while working with a team to uphold Postino’s hospitality standards.

Formación

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience (or combined industry experience).
• State Food Handler’s Management Certification is required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required.
• High-school diploma preferred

Responsabilidades

• Guide guests through the ordering process and ensure a full-service experience.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and deliver items to guests.
• Present the check promptly and process payment.
• Collaborate with other service positions to ensure guests’ needs are met.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
