Job summary

Postino WineCafe Raleigh is seeking a friendly server to deliver a full-service dining experience. You will guide guests through menu selections, enter orders into the POS, and ensure timely delivery of meals and beverages.

The role requires a year of full-service restaurant experience, state food handler and alcohol service certifications, and a flexible schedule spanning weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Competitive wages with weekly pay and generous benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience; combined industry experience will be considered.
• State Food Handler’s Certification is required.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.

Requirements

• Full time (30 hours or more) or part time position (30 hours or less) that requires a flexible schedule, often working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Normal shifts include as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 2 a.m. and can fluctuate often.
• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant experience; combined industry experience will be considered.
• High-school diploma preferred
