Job summary

Hellas Bakery & Pita in Tarpon Springs, FL seeks a server to own a station in a fast-paced, full-service environment. You’ll welcome guests, guide them through the menu, and coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure accurate, timely service.

Base pay plus tips; strong POS knowledge and cash handling required. 1–2 years of high-volume restaurant experience and a Food Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days) are preferred.

You’ll confidently guide guests through our menu, work closely with the kitchen and dining teams, and ensure every visit feels special. What You’ll Do:

• Own your section with confidence, flow, and attention to detail.
• Welcome guests with warmth and guide them through the menu with knowledge and professionalism.
• Take orders accurately, move with urgency, and communicate clearly with kitchen and bar.
• Plate check, polish glassware, and make sure every dish leaves your hands looking right.
• Monitor guest needs, handle issues with grace, and always make that last impression count.
• Support your team, whether you’re helping bussers, runners, or jumping in at the host stand.
• Foster a welcoming environment through the relationships you build with our guests.
• Follow food safety and cleanliness protocols the right way, every time.

What We’re Looking For:

• You’ve got at least 1-2 years of full-service experience in a high-volume restaurant.
• You’re comfortable managing multiple tables and courses.
• Adaptable to changes such as specials, allergies, or recommendations.
• You have strong POS knowledge, great communication skills, and can handle cash accurately.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Food Safety Certification (or willing to get it within 60 days).
• Guest First Mentality.
