Responsibilities

• Present menus to guests and answer questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and services.
• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of the Boro Restaurant & Bar: To bring our Employees and Guests together with great food and hospitality to create a positive memorable experience.
• Monitor & observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied wiht the food and service; respond promptly and courteously to correct any problems.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and inform guests of menu item changes and daily features, and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
• Check guests' identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
• Collect payments from guests.
• Roll silverware, set up food stations or set up dining areas to prepare for the next shift or for large parties.
• Assist host or hostess by answering phones to take reservations or to-go orders, and by greeting, seating and thanking guests.
• Perform cleaning duties.
• Such other duties as may be required to assist in business flow and operation of daily business operations.
