Responsibilities

• Engage with each customer to make them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Be knowledgeable of all menus and events.
• Set up dining area for maximum efficiency when busy.
• Take beverage and food orders and enter into POS accurately.
• Follow restaurant protocols for Washington House service.
• Look for positive solutions to inevitable difficult situations.
• Prepare checks and collect payment from guests.
• Clean and sanitize appropriate areas to start each shift with a clean workspace.
• Work cooperatively with front of house, back of house, hotel and theater staff.

Server responsibilities:

• Engage with each customer to make them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus and special events
• Set up properly to ensure maximum efficiency when busy
• Take beverage and food orders and enter into POS accurately
