Sellersville Theater 1894 and The Washington House Hotel & Restaurant in Bucks County, PA, seeks experienced bartender/servers to join our team. We pride ourselves on caring hospitality, great food, and a high-energy, positive work environment.

You’ll be cross‑trained for bartending and serving, work varied shifts, and help maintain a clean, efficient service area. Reliable transportation and a willingness to work both lunch and dinner shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing & able to mix bartending and serving with private party shifts.
• Availability to work varied hours/days.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Engage with each customer to make them feel welcome and comfortable.
• Be knowledgeable of all food and beverage menus and events.
• Set up properly to maximize efficiency during busy periods.
• Take beverage and food orders and enter into POS accurately.
• Create drinks following house recipes and measures.
• Follow restaurant protocols for Washington House service.
• Look for positive solutions to difficult situations.
• Prepare checks, collect payment, and maintain a clean dining/bar area.
• Collaborate with front and back of house, hotel, and theater staff to maintain a positive environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare checks and collect payment from guestsClean and sanitize appropriate areas in dining room and bar area to make sure each shift starts with a clean work space
• Work cooperatively with all front of house, back of house, hotel and theater staff to maintain a positive work environment at all times

Requirements

• Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast paced environment
• Willing & able to a mixture of bartending, serving and private party shifts
• Availability to work varied hours/days
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift and carry heavy plates, boxes and dining room tables and chairs when necessary
• Experience with building drinks, tending bar, maintaining a clean, well stocked, and efficient work area
• All of our employees work weekdays and weekends, and a combination of lunch and dinner shifts.
