Job summary

The Kitchen, part of Selland Hospitality Group in Sacramento, seeks a Dining Room Server to lead with hospitality and excellence. You will deliver refined service, guide beverage selections, and uphold the group’s standards of guest care and professionalism.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in fine dining, CMS/WSET perks, and a flexible Wed–Sun evening schedule. Competitive hourly pay with benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high-end service in a fine dining environment.
• CMS Certified or WSET Level 1+ is a major plus.
• Availability Wednesday through Sunday evenings.
• Valid RBS Card and reliable transportation.
• Aged 18+.

Responsibilities

• Maintain seamless table service and guest experience.
• Use beverage knowledge to guide the guest experience.
• Ensure every detail from first pour to final crumb is perfect.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

You are articulate, polished, and possess a "team-first" mentality. You understand that fine dining is a choreography of many moving parts. You strive for excellence and take feedback as a growth opportunity.

• Experience: 2+ years of high-end service (Server, Captain, or Sommelier) in a Fine Dining environment is highly preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong foundational knowledge of food, wine, and spirits. CMS Certified or WSET Level 1+ is a major plus!
• Availability: Must be available Wednesday through Sunday evenings. (We create magic when the sun goes down!)
• Credentials: Valid RBS Card, reliable transportation, and aged 18+.
• Mindset: A positive, attentive, and hospitable spirit with an insatiable willingness to learn.
