Description: Come work for Sacramento's Leading Restaurant Group!!! At The Kitchen Restaurant, a proud beacon of Michelin-starred culinary artistry in Sacramento, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Back Server to join our elite dining room team.

In this role, you are vital to the team and to the guests' journey, transforming traditional table service into an elevated hospitality experience. Rather than managing basic transactions, you will master the seamless mechanics of our dining room and bar. This fast-paced, demanding position requires an exceptional eye for detail, the ability to multitask gracefully under pressure, and a deep commitment to continuous education—including rigorous menu and beverage memorization. You will work in complete synchronization with our Servers, Sommeliers, and Bartenders to ensure our standards of Excellence are met with every single course.

Requirements

• Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of previous serving, back serving, or busing experience—preferably within a fine dining, high-volume, or chef-driven concept.
• Credentials: Valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required.
• Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age (or possess a valid, state-approved work permit).
• Mindset: A passionate willingness to learn, grow, and adapt to elite service standards.
• Flexibility: Ability to work varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as the dictates of a premier restaurant require.
• Logistics: Reliable transportation to and from our Sacramento location.
