Job summary

LifeSpire of Virginia in Richmond, VA is seeking friendly dining staff to join our team as servers. We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities in a caring community for our residents, with training provided and a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and excellent service.

You will prep dining areas, deliver meals to resident homes within the community, plate meals according to service guidelines, greet residents, take orders, and ensure smooth dining operations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Prior food service experience preferred but not required.
• Friendly and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to follow food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepping dining areas prior to meal service.
• Delivering meals to resident homes within the community.
• Plating and presenting food according to service guidelines.
• Greeting residents, reviewing menu items, and taking meal orders.
• Serving food and clearing tables efficiently.
• Following HACCP guidelines for safe food handling.
• Maintaining personal cleanliness and proper uniform standards.
• Demonstrating dependability in attendance and task completion.
