Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation in Revere, Massachusetts is seeking a Server responsible for ensuring a positive dining experience. You will provide excellent guest service, utilize your product knowledge for menu recommendations, and maintain a clean work area. Responsibilities include ringing orders, checking IDs, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Strong sales skills and a positive attitude are essential for building trust with guests and creating loyal patrons.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training portal.
• Carries out all tasks necessary to prepare the restaurant for service prior to pre-shift.
• Uses suggestive selling/recommendation approach on the menu, applying thorough product knowledge.
• Rings orders and performs all necessary additional functions in the POS system.
• Checks identification of all guests under the age of 30.
• Does NOT serve intoxicated guests and communicates about any and all impaired guests to MOD.
• Maintains accurate financial records of the shift, including all discounts and comps.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Completes daily and weekly side work responsibilities on a consistent and thorough basis.
• Assists other team members as necessary.
• Completes additional tasks as assigned by the management team.
• Keeps management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members.
• Follows all company policies as outlined in company handbook.
