Job summary

Great American Restaurants is seeking a server to join a team-focused, high-volume dining environment in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. You will guide guests through menus, take orders, and deliver an exceptionally distinctive dining experience.

Top servers make $1,000–$1,500 per week and a benefits package includes health insurance, PTO, and 401K eligibility. Paid training and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to handle alcohol.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through menus with thorough knowledge of items.
• Take accurate orders and work with GARStars to serve food and beverages to meet guests’ expectations.
• Provide welcoming, attentive service and build rapport with guests.

• Guiding guests through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our items
• Taking accurate orders and working with other GARStars to serve food and beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations
• Providing a welcoming and attentive service that makes the guest feel well taken care of and building rapport with them
• Assist in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant
