The Old Spaghetti Factory is seeking a server to join our team in a family-friendly environment. You will engage guests with menu recommendations, take and deliver orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience with attention to detail and teamwork.

We offer hourly pay plus tips, flexible shifts including evenings and weekends, and opportunities for learning about Italian cuisine while providing excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills, enjoy a family atmosphere.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and awareness of details matter.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexible to work various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide menu recommendations, ingredients and prep methods to guests.

Server Job Description

Our Server’s ensure our guests have an exceptional dining experience! Interacting with guests to provide menu recommendations, take and deliver food and beverage orders in afriendly and professional manner. Attention to detail, team player and ability to multitask are what make our Server's successful.

About You:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred but not required.

• Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, lift and carry up to 35lbs throughout shift.

What You Will Do:

• Provide menu recommendations, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
• Complete orders and process payment transactions in POS system.
• Make recommendations based on guests' preferences, dietary restrictions and food allergies.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timing for each table.
• Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concerns.
• Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guests' needs.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and bring issues to management when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate a positive working environment.
