Job summary

The Old Spaghetti Factory is hiring a Server to join our team in California. This position offers hourly pay plus tips and involves delivering an exceptional dining experience, recommending menu items, taking orders, and processing payments in a POS system.

The role requires excellent communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced family-friendly environment. Training is provided and shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Positive attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong multitasking and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, including dietary restrictions and allergies.
• Basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to lift 35lbs without assistance.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, lift and carry up to 35lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide menu recommendations, ingredients, and preparation methods to guests.
• Complete orders and process payment transactions in POS system.
• Make recommendations based on guests' preferences, dietary restrictions and food allergies.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring accuracy, presentation, and timing for each table.
• Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address requests/concerns.
• Provide attentive and personalized service, anticipating guests' needs.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and bring issues to management when necessary.
• Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate a positive working environment.

Server Job Description

Our Server’s ensure our guests have an exceptional dining experience! Interacting with guests to provide menu recommendations, take and deliver food and beverage orders in afriendly and professional manner. Attention to detail, team player and ability to multitask are what make our Server's successful.
