Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton, PA is seeking a punctual, detail‑oriented server to join Slopeside Pub and Grill. You will provide guests with a friendly dining experience, take orders accurately, and respond promptly to requests in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take guests' orders in a friendly and accurate manner and answer questions about food and beverages
• Respond promptly and courteously to diners’ requests or concerns
• Perform side tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or shift supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, trays, tables and the restaurant overall
• Follow cash handling procedures and balance the house bank
• Be available to fill in for other roles to ensure efficient dining room operation
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Love the view and food at Slopeside Pub and Grill? We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to provide a guest with an experience that is beyond their expectations and creates guests for life. This individual will join our Slopeside team and serve the guests their food and beverages in a friendly manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Weekday and Weekend availability.
• The desire to be an integral part of a growing restaurant team
• The ability to provide outstanding guest service
• The ability to communicate effectively amongst fellow employees and guests through exceptional interpersonal skills
• A positive, team player attitude with a willingness to assist fellow servers, bussers, and hosts during peak meal service hours
• Time management skills while working in a fast-paced environment or under pressure
• Basic knowledge of dining room procedures and food service operations

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

• Responsibility for ensuring an exceptional meal experience for guests
• Take guests’ orders in a friendly and accurate fashion, demonstrating the knowledge and ability to answer questions about food and beverage offerings
• Respond promptly and courteously to diners’ requests or concerns
• Perform side tasks as assigned by the restaurant manager or shift supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, trays, tables, and the restaurant overall
• Follow all cash and money handing procedures, ensuring guest payments are collected accurately, and the house bank is consistently balanced
• Availability to fill in for other roles as needed to ensure efficient operation of the dining room as directed by the restaurant manager or supervisor
• Attend and participate in staff meetings as required
