Hotel Paseo, Autograph Collection in Palm Desert seeks a Server to deliver food and beverages in a friendly, timely manner, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. You will explain specials, demonstrate menu knowledge, and coordinate with the kitchen and management to execute flawless service.

Qualifications

• One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required.

What will you be doing?

• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and coordinate with culinary and management teams.
• Retrieve, verify, and serve food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of service.
• Process payments, thank guests, and encourage return visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area by resetting tables, restocking supplies, completing side work, and following all liquor regulations.

What do you bring to the role?

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions
• Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations
• Ability to work POS system
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday and ha
• ve reliable transportation to and from work
