Job summary

HOTEL PASEO in Palm Desert is seeking a Server to provide exceptional food and beverage service in a boutique luxury setting. You will welcome guests, explain menu offerings, and deliver hospitality standards with accuracy and warmth.

The role requires at least one year in fine dining, strong English communication, POS and cash handling abilities, and the flexibility to work varied shifts. Join a premier property offering guest-focused service and opportunities for growth.

• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable transportation.

• Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of service.
• Process payments, thank guests, and encourage return visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area by resetting tables and restocking supplies.

What will you be doing?

• Retrieve, verify, and serve food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while maintaining a high level of service.
• Process payments, thank guests, and encourage return visits.li>
• Maintain a clean, organized dining area by resetting tables, restocking supplies, completing side work, and following all liquor regulations.

What do you bring to the role?

• High school degree or equivalent preferred
• One year or more of service in a fine dining outlet required
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions
• Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations
• Ability to work POS system
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests
• Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holiday and have reliable transportation to and from work
