Job summary

Village on the Park Oklahoma City, operated by Cardinal Bay, is seeking Full-Time Servers to deliver a fine dining experience to residents. Shift options include 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. with Tue–Sat schedule and occasional holidays.

Responsibilities include greeting residents, taking orders, delivering meals, and maintaining a clean dining environment. Qualifications include a state-accredited food handler within 60 days, good communication, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must obtain a state-accredited food handler certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests and seat them with a smile.
• Take food orders, relay to kitchen, and deliver meals promptly.
• Keep dining room clean and set to company standards.
• Assist with serving, table setup, and clearing dishes.
• Adhere to food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Ensure resident safety during dining and respond to requests quickly.

Shifts:

• 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Tuesday - Saturday
• Holiday shifts included.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the dining room is clean and is set up to company standards for all meals and functions, and that it is kept clean.
• Ensure all residents and guests are greeted with a smile and that each resident has a place to sit.
• Take food orders, present to kitchen staff, and deliver meals to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner.
• Ensures accurate fulfillment of orders and checks food quality/presentation.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest requests. Interact with guests in the dining room to ensure their satisfaction.
• Assists setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste materials, and restocking inventory.
• Assist in cleaning and setting up the serving area according to company standards and ensure that it is kept clean.
• Ensure residents safety by removing all walkers from the dining room and return to resident immediately upon finishing meal.
• Adhere to all food handling, food service, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements:

• Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Ability to speak, read & write English.
• Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.
