Job summary

Cardinal Bay is seeking enthusiastic Servers for Village on the Park Friendswood to deliver fine dining experiences to residents. The roles include both part-time and full-time positions, with shifts from early morning to evening and a rotating schedule that may include holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities include greeting residents, taking orders, serving meals, and maintaining a clean, safe dining area while ensuring high service standards and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have or obtain Accredited Food Handler per State guidelines within 60 days.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Able to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dining room cleanliness and setup to company standards for all meals and functions.
• Greet residents and guests warmly and seat them.
• Take food orders, relay to kitchen, and deliver meals promptly.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and monitor food quality and presentation.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest requests and engage with them to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and restocking supplies.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards are followed in all dining areas.

Village on the Park Friendswood is seeking Part-Time & Full-Time Servers to bring the fine dining experience to our residents.

Shifts

• 7:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
• Rotating shift includes holidays & weekends

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the dining room is clean and is set up to company standards for all meals and functions, and that it is kept clean.
• Ensure all residents and guests are greeted with a smile and that each resident has a place to sit.
• Take food orders, present to kitchen staff, and deliver meals to residents and guests in a proper and timely manner.
• Ensures accurate fulfillment of orders and checks food quality/presentation.
• Respond quickly to resident and guest requests. Interact with guests in the dining room to ensure their satisfaction.
• Assists setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste materials, and restocking inventory.
• Assist in cleaning and setting up the serving area according to company standards and ensure that it is kept clean.
• Ensure residents safety by removing all walkers from the dining room and return to resident immediately upon finishing meal.
• Adhere to all food handling, food service, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Must be or become within 60 days an accredited food handler per State guidelines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and colleagues.
• High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Ability to speak, read & write English.
• Must be willing to undergo a routine background check.
