Job summary

Milestone Retirement is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our residents. You will provide high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean dining environment, and support a team that fosters a welcoming community.

You will interact with residents, families, and coworkers, ensuring dietary needs are met, following safety practices, and contributing to a positive, respectful dining atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Ability to obtain local food handling licenses as required.
• 18 years or older with health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks.
• First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and meet residents’ dining preferences.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About The Role

We’re seeking a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for our residents. In this role, you’ll ensure high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean and safe dining environment, and support a team that creates a pleasant and engaging atmosphere. You’ll interact directly with residents, families, and coworkers, helping to foster a welcoming and positive community.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in food service preferred
• Current ServSafe Certification required
• Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required
• Must be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks
• First Aid certification required
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Strong communication and organizational skills
