Golfzon Social Oak Brook, located in Oak Brook, IL, is seeking a part-time Server to join Troon’s hospitality team. You will provide attentive guest service, describe specials, take orders, and deliver food with care.

This role offers $12.00–$16.00 per hour plus tips; eligible healthcare and retirement benefits are available. A high school diploma/GED and prior serving experience help, with reliable attendance a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of serving experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Must meet state age requirements for handling alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and seat promptly.
• Describe specials and answer questions about menu items.
• Take orders and deliver food promptly.
• Follow up with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenish as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintain an organized workstation and complete side work duties.
• Handle checks and cash transactions; use the POS system.
• Follow established service procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adhere to standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practice tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Practice safe work practices and perform other duties as required.

Compensation:

$12.00 - $16.00 per hour based on experience plus tips

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating
• Describes specials of the day to guests; answers questions regarding menu items and offers suggestions when appropriate
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenishes items as needed
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties
• Maintains accountability for checks and cash transactions; utilizes the point-of-sale system
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
