Job summary

Forefront Healthcare in the United States is seeking a part-time hourly dining services helper in a healthcare setting. You will set up dining areas and trays for meals, adhere to food safety guidelines, and respect residents' dietary needs.

You will assist cooks, deliver meal carts, maintain cleanliness, monitor refrigerator temperatures, and uphold regulations including HIPAA and facility policies. The role requires reliability, flexibility for mornings, days, weekends and holidays, and

Responsibilities

• Setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.
• Assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines, and regulations.
• Delivering residents' meal carts, and setting and cleaning assigned dining area(s) to serve residents.
• Accurately recording temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including HIPAA.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certifications/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.

This is an hourly position, expected hours include morning, days, some weekends, and some holidays.
