Job summary

StoneRidge in Mystic, CT is seeking a part-time Server to provide table service in our community dining rooms. You will set tables, take orders, serve residents graciously, and clear dishes during meal service.

Applicants should understand and follow English instructions, with prior dining experience preferred; fine dining is a plus. You will work closely with residents, families, and staff, and must pass pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
• Experience waiting tables in a hotel, restaurant or club with fine dining preferred; will train.
• Ability to interpret and explain menus, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service processes, and understand special requests.
• Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, supervisor, and peers.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders, provides service and requested items both graciously and courteously.
• Clears dishes from tables during and after meal service.
• Correctly enters orders into the POS system while charging the correct resident.
• Setup and breakdown functions and events.

Pay: Starting at $17.10 dollars per hour
