Deepwell, the newest full-service restaurant from the Kindred Hospitality group, is hiring experienced servers to join our front-of-house team. This fast-paced, detail-oriented role rewards genuine hospitality, deep menu knowledge, and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience required; upscale or fine dining preferred.
• Willingness to learn wine, beer and cocktails.
• Ability to stand, walk, carry trays for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout each guest's visit.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of daily menu changes, preparation methods, and ingredients.
• Guide guests through wine, beer, and cocktail programs with thoughtful pairings.
• Anticipate guest needs and handle dietary restrictions and questions professionally.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate, timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining area and stations.
• Process orders and payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system.
• Uphold service and hospitality standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team during high-volume shifts.

Position Summary

We're hiring experienced, hospitality-driven servers to join our front-of-house team as we open Deepwell - the newest full-service restaurant from the Kindred Hospitality group. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment suited to servers who take pride in genuine hospitality, deep menu knowledge, and creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.

About Us

Deepwell is an upscale casual restaurant and part of a growing local restaurant group, with several other restaurants in the area owned by Joe & Katy Kindred. Our culinary team has earned numerous James Beard Foundation nominations along with other national and local accolades. We're known for seasonally-driven menus - and we're looking for servers who bring the same level of care to the guest experience that our kitchen brings to the plate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service throughout each guest's visit
• Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of daily menu changes, preparation methods, and ingredients
• Confidently guide guests through our wine, beer, and cocktail programs, offering thoughtful pairings and recommendations
• Anticipate guest needs and handle special requests, dietary restrictions, and questions with professionalism
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate, timely, and well-paced service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service stations
• Process orders and payments accurately using the restaurant's POS system
• Uphold the restaurant's standards for service and hospitality at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a team during high-volume, fast-paced shifts

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant experience required; upscale or fine dining experience strongly preferred
• Working knowledge of wine, craft beer, and cocktails, or a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol per NC state law
