Job summary

Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a friendly Server to join our culinary team. You will take meal orders, serve food and beverages, support residents' dietary needs, and keep dining areas clean to ensure a welcoming mealtime experience.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a friendly, dependable, and service‑focused Server to join our culinary team at Hillcrest Firethorn in Lincoln, Nebraska.

As a Server, you will help create a positive dining experience by taking meal orders, serving food and beverages, supporting residents’ dietary needs, and keeping dining areas clean, organized, and ready for service.

Hours & Scheduling

We are hiring full-time and part-time Servers for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Available Scheduling Options Include

• Afternoon/Evening Shift: 2:30/3:30PM–8:00 PM.
• Part‑Time Opportunities: Afternoon/evening shifts, including 3:00 PM–8:00 PM.
• Part‑Time Shift: 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, depending on scheduling needs.
• Weekend Availability: Must be available to work at least one weekend day. Candidates available to work both Saturday and Sunday are welcome!

Our evening shifts typically end at 8:00 PM. Specific schedules and weekly hours will depend on the position and the needs of the culinary team.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Must be flexible and calm when supporting residents, patients, guests, and families.
• Must have strong attention to detail and be able to work effectively in a fast‑paced dining environment.
• Must be able to utilize technology and available resources efficiently and effectively.
• Must follow established sanitation, infection‑control, chemical‑handling, and food‑safety procedures.
• Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.
