Job summary

Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna is seeking a friendly, dependable Server to join our dining team at Gretna, NE. You will greet residents, take orders, assist with menu selections, and provide attentive service in a welcoming, hospitality-focused environment.

Ideal candidates are patient, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with aging adults. Prior dining or hospitality experience is helpful but not required. Full-time day or evening shifts are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in restaurant, senior living, hospitality, or food-service is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.

Schedule: Full-Time Days: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | Full-Time Evenings: 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Servers to join our dining team at Hillcrest Highlands of Gretna.

What You’ll Do

As a Server, you will work closely with residents, guests, and the culinary team to provide friendly, efficient, and personalized dining service.

You Will

• Greet residents and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.

• Assist residents with menu selections and dining requests.
• Serve meals and beverages in a timely and professional manner.

• Set up dining areas before service and clean and reset tables afterward.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining environment.
• Assist with stocking dining areas and maintaining appropriate supply levels.
• Work closely with the culinary team to keep meal service running smoothly.
• Communicate resident preferences, concerns, or special requests to the appropriate team member.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures.
• Assist with special meals, celebrations, events, and additional dining needs as assigned.
• Jump in and help the team wherever needed.
