Job summary

Dave & Buster’s Management Corporation, Inc. is seeking a Server to deliver great meals, drinks, and FUN to Guests. As a Server, you’ll know the menu inside and out, suggest items, and ensure timely delivery while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications include 18+ and alcohol certification where required; prior food and beverage experience is a plus. Must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, with teamwork and a strong guest-first attitude driving every shift.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN; recommend menu items.
• Ensure order accuracy and showcase beverage knowledge.
• Deliver food and drinks timely and anticipate guest needs.
• Adhere to alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payments and invite guests back to the FUN.
• Maintain a clean, stocked work area and complete side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

Job Description: At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, our Servers serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Server, you are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with all guests.
• Be our ambassador of FUN!
• Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy (Show your salesmanship!)
• Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
• Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
• Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
• Process payment transactions and invite our Guests back to the FUN!
• Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe work area, server section, all while completing the necessary side work
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus but not required
• 18+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
• Comply with the company uniform standards
• Always be ready to create a memorable guest experience
• Teamwork is a must (Remember, teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Must act with a swift sense of urgency
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (subject to business needs)
