Job summary

Champions Club Texas is seeking servers to join our growing Food & Beverage team. As a Server, you’ll take orders, answer questions about the menu, upsell items, take payments, and support guest service with Champions Club hospitality.

This is a part-time role in Houston, approximately 20–30 hours per week, with morning and/or evening shifts. Must have Food Handler’s and TABC certifications and be 18+; prior hospitality experience is a plus. Starting pay is $10.00/hr plus tips.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler’s Certification required.
• TABC Certification required.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late nights.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables/service carts before service with appropriate utensils and napkins.
• Greet guests, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Knowledge of the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and beverages.
• Ability to make drinks in a pinch/willingness to step behind bar and help if needed.
• Keep water/coffee stations clean and fully stocked.
• Deliver food orders to guests quickly and accurately.
• Accurately process guest transactions, manage tips, and make change.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
• Bus tables/service carts by removing dirty dishes and trash.
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff.
• Adhere to all health department rules/regulations and guest service guidelines.

About the Role

Champions Club is looking for Servers to join our growing team! As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you’ll work as a Server who can also support bartenders as needed. You'll be responsible for taking orders, answering questions about the menu and food, upselling food and drinks, taking payment, and supporting guest service with our best-in-class Champions Club hospitality.

Experience & Skills

• Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct

Qualities & Preferences

• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, private club, and/or casino preferred
• Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
• Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance/punctuation
• Ability to maintain top-level performance during high stress situations

This starting pay for this role is $10.00/hr + Tips
