Job summary

Champions Club is seeking a friendly Server to join our Food & Beverage team. You will take orders, upsell items, and support bartenders as needed while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This is a part-time position (~20–30 hours/week) with morning and/or evening shifts. Must be 18+, have a Food Handler’s Certification and a TABC Certification. Ability to work weekends and late nights is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Food Handler’s Certification required.
• TABC Certification required.
• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and late nights.
• Adhere to all company policies and code of conduct.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables/service carts before service with appropriate utensils and napkins.
• Greet guests and maintain a welcoming atmosphere with excellent guest experience.
• Know the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and beverages.
• Ability to make drinks or assist behind the bar when needed.
• Maintain water/coffee stations clean and stocked.
• Deliver food orders quickly and accurately and process guest transactions including tips.
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles, cooperate with kitchen staff.
• Ensure guests have proper tableware and assist as needed.

About The Role

Champions Club is looking for Servers to join our growing team! As a member of our Food & Beverage team, you’ll work as a Server who can also support bartenders as needed. You'll be responsible for taking orders, answering questions about the menu and food, upselling food and drinks, taking payment, and supporting guest service with our best-in-class Champions Club hospitality.

• This is a part-time position, working approximately 20-30 hours per week. We’re looking for folks who can work morning and/or evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables/service carts before service with appropriate utensils and napkins
• Greet guests, maintain a welcoming atmosphere, and ensure an exceptional guest experience
• Knowledge of the menu and recommend appetizers, meals, desserts and beverages
• Ability to make drinks in a pinch/willingness to step behind bar and help if needed
• Keep water/coffee stations clean and fully stocked
• Ensure patrons have all of the appropriate tableware they need to enjoy their meal
• Deliver food orders to guests quickly and accurately
• Accurately process guest transactions, manage tips, and make change
• Uphold sanitation and food safety principles
• Bus tables/service carts by removing dirty dishes and trash
• Cooperate and communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all other guest service guidelines

Experience & Skills

• Must be 18 years or older
• Food Handler’s Certification
• TABC Certification
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late nights
• Ability to adhere to all company policies and the code of conduct

Qualities & Preferences

• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, private club, and/or casino preferred
• Ability to address issues in a professional manner through effective interpersonal communication
• Exemplary time and resource management including good attendance/punctuation
• Ability to maintain top-level performance during high stress situations

This starting pay for this role is $10.00/hr + Tips
