Job summary

Hastings Senior Health & Living, a Cassia community, is seeking part-time Servers to join our culinary team in Hastings, MN. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and an opportunity to grow in a healthcare setting. Shift: Evenings 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM; 19–24.48 USD/hour depending on experience.

You will serve residents, employees, and families, assist with meal service, and help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Training will be provided for this role.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read and understand procedures for work assignments, instructions, and menu requests.
• Selected candidates are required to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Position Type:

Part-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including every other weekend and holidays

Available Shifts:

Evenings 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Part-Time)

Wage Range:

$19 - $24.48 /hour depending on experience.

We are located near the cities of Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights, South St. Paul, Rosemount, Woodbury and Prescott, Wisconsin.
