Stoney Point Meadows, a Cassia community, is hiring Servers to join our culinary team. We will train you for this position and you will gain valuable experience serving residents, staff, and families with a focus on high-quality meals and service.

The role offers full-time hours with varying schedules including weekends. Location at 1900 Stoney Point Road SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404, and a supportive Dietary Department that emphasizes safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• 1+ year serving/dining experience preferred, but not required.
• We will train you for this position!
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Serve meals to residents, staff and visitors.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen/dining rooms.
• May assist kitchen staff with food prep.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Position Type:

Full-Time, benefits eligible position, working a varying schedule including weekends.

Shift Available:

7:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location:

1900 Stoney Point Road SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404

Server Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Server Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• 1+ year prior serving/dining experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position!
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.
• Selected candidates will be required to pass abackground check.
