Job summary

Stoney Point Meadows, a Cassia community, is seeking friendly servers to join our culinary team in Cedar Rapids, IA. We will train you for this position and provide a pathway to growth while helping us serve residents, staff, and families with meals and compassionate service.

This full-time role offers benefits and a supportive team in a senior living setting. Shifts include early morning hours and weekend availability, with a focus on maintaining high standards of safety and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• 1+ year prior serving/dining experience preferred, but not required. We will train you for this position!
• Healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for length of shift and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
• Compassionate, positive attitude and team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• May support kitchen staff with duties such as prepping food.
• Complete additional tasks as needed.

Position Type:

Full-Time, benefits eligible position, working a varying schedule including weekends.

Shift Available:

7:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location:

1900 Stoney Point Road SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52404
