Job summary

BITES & BREWS is located within 814 Lanes and Games. Servers provide food and beverage service, maintaining a clean dining area and ensuring guest satisfaction. They take orders, write or input tickets, memorize orders, and communicate with the kitchen staff.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, upselling beverages and specials, checking IDs, handling payments, and upholding sanitation and safety standards. RAMP certification is preferred and may be obtained during employment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

BITES & BREWS is located within 814 Lanes and Games™

Servers deliver food and beverages to our guests. They maintain a clean, orderly, and well-stocked dining area, and remain in compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations. Prepares checks and collects payments from guests, and ensures our guests are leaving happy!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Acknowledges and welcomes guests when they enter the restaurant.
2. Takes food and drink orders from our guests accurately and with a positive attitude.
3. Writes guests' food orders on order slips, memorizes orders, or enters orders into computers for communicating to kitchen staff.
4. Welcomes guests, reads and listens to people to determine beverage preferences, makes recommendations, and takes drink orders.
5. Informs guests about new beverages and specials.
6. Checks identification to ensure guests are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
7. Adheres to all food safety and quality regulations.
8. Handles cash, credit, and debit card transactions, and ensures charges are accurate and returns correct change to patrons.
9. Maintains a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
10. Ensures tables are enjoying their meals and takes action to correct any problems.
11. Prepares checks and collects payments from tables.
12. Helps food preparation staff when necessary.
13. Responds efficiently and accurately to guest complaints.
14. Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
15. Ensures compliance with RAMP and ServSafe standards .
