Job summary

Presbyterian Senior Living is seeking a PRN dining services team member to prepare dining areas, serve meals, and ensure food quality and temperature for residents. Ability to read and follow orders is essential, with flexibility for weekends and holidays.

The role supports residents with meals, maintaining cleanliness and proper storage, and coordinating with staff to meet dietary needs and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining areas for meals; this may include setting tables with dinnerware and decoration.
• Serve accurate and attractive meals in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper food temperature when serving.
• Communicate with and respond to customer meal requests.
• Obtain meal orders.
• Monitor and maintain proper levels of supplies and food items in work areas and dining rooms.
• May observe and report changes in residents dining habits to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Maintain adequate cleanliness of dining services equipment and work area.
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to policy.
• May operate dishwasher when appropriate.
