Job summary

Bayside Terrace Senior Living LLC is seeking a Server ready to assist with resident and guest meals in Pinellas Park, FL. You will participate in the 3:30pm pre-meal meeting, prepare service stations, and ensure water, coffee, ice, soup, lemons and tableware are stocked for service.

Responsibilities include folding napkins, bussing and assisting during service, following facility guidelines, and reporting resident concerns to supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Attend pre-meal service meeting at 3:30pm.
• Fold napkins and set tables for service.
• Check tables in the station to ensure they are ready for service.
• Ensure water pitchers, coffee, ice, soup, lemons and china are available and ready for use during service.
• Follow all facility guidelines regarding serving residents and guest meals.
• If resident concern occurs, apologize to the resident and inform supervisor immediately.
• Use proper lifting techniques at all times.
• Pre-bus tables and place dishes and silverware in dish area.
• Complete closing side duties as assigned.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

As an essential function of the job, the Server is regularly called on to effectively report emergencies such as residents’/patient’s condition changes, as well as accidents and incidents, complaints and grievances by residents/patients and their families, etc. It is determined that Server has the ability to communicate with others and do not pose a direct threat to the safety or health of self or others.
