Job summary

Milestone is hiring a Server to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents. You will deliver high-quality service during meals, maintain a clean dining environment, and support a collaborative team that ensures a welcoming community for residents and families.

The role requires ServSafe and First Aid certifications, a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior food service experience. Full-time, on-site positions with competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• First Aid Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents’ dining preferences and dietary needs are met.
• Circulate in the dining room to assess satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and equipment.
• Follow safe work practices and support team compliance with Safety Committee standards.
• Assist coworkers beyond assigned duties to ensure smooth service and a positive team environment.
• Report any elder maltreatment or abuse in accordance with policy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in food service preferred
• Current ServSafe Certification required
• Ability to obtain/hold any local, state, or county food handling/sanitation licenses as required
• Must be 18 years or older, pass health screenings, TB clearance, fingerprinting, and background checks
• First Aid certification required
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Pleasant, professional, and personable demeanor
• Ability to work independently, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure
