Job summary

Turtleback Mountain Golf and Resort in Elephant Butte, NM is seeking a motivated Part-Time Server to join our hospitality team. You will provide warm, attentive service, describe specials, take orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests.

Join a fast-paced golf resort environment with opportunities to learn and grow within a global hospitality group. This role offers a base pay of $9 per hour plus tips and gratuity, and includes benefits eligibility as described in our plan

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of serving experience or training, or equivalent.
• Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol (21+).
• Food safety knowledge and practices.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to guests upon seating.
• Describes daily specials and answers questions about menu items.
• Takes orders and delivers items promptly.
• Ensures guest satisfaction and replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties.
• Processes checks and cash transactions using the POS system.
• Follows procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adheres to service standards and accurate tray service.
• Maintains safety practices and regular attendance.

Description

Turtleback Mountain Golf and Resort, located in Elephant Butte, NM, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay:

$9.00 per hour plus tips and gratuity

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating
• Describes daily specials, answers questions about menu items, and offers recommendations
• Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items promptly
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and tastings
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties
• Accurately processes checks and cash transactions using the POS system
• Follows established procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders
• Adheres to service standards for greeting, cocktail service, and food delivery
• Practices proper tray service for all food and beverage serviceIncorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Regular and reliable attendance
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol (21+)
• Food safety knowledge
