Job summary

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado is seeking a seasonal Server to join our hospitality team for up to six months. You will welcome guests, take and deliver orders, describe menu items, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting at a Troon property.

Previous restaurant experience is helpful, with a high school diploma or GED, and training in food safety and alcohol awareness. This role includes healthcare and retirement benefits and requires reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to guests and offers menu item suggestions.
• Takes orders and delivers food promptly after preparation.
• Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction; replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties.
• Handles checks and cash transactions; uses the POS system.
• Follows established service standards for greeting, cocktail service, and food delivery.
• Trains in bartending service as needed.
• Performs duties with safe work practices and maintains regular attendance.

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$12.14 - $13.00 per hour

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the role.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
