The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado is seeking a Full-Time Server for a seasonal six-month (or less) period. This Troon property offers a fast-paced hospitality setting and opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow within a global golf and community management leader.

Key duties include greeting guests, describing specials, taking and delivering orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Food Safety and Alcohol Awareness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Willingness to cross-train in bartending.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Meets state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Knowledge of POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as seated and provide immediate attention.
• Describe specials and menu items; offer recommendations.
• Take food and beverage orders and deliver promptly.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and replenish items as needed.
• Participate in pre-shift meetings and tastings.
• Maintain organized workstation and complete side work duties.
• Handle checks and cash; use POS system for transactions.
• Follow standards for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Adhere to service techniques and bar service practices.

Description

The Club at Cordillera Mountain in Edwards, Colorado is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Full-Time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$12.14 - $13.00 per hour

• Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Describes specials of the day to the guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions of menu items when appropriate.
• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guests promptly after preparation.
• Follows-up with guest to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
• Maintains organized workstation and side work duties
• Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sales System.
• Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery and general service techniques.
• Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
• Position requires to be cross trained in bartending service
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

• Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the role.
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Knowledge of POS system.
