Postino WineCafe is seeking a Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant setting in Denver. You will guide guests through ordering, enter items into the POS, deliver orders, and manage payments while collaborating with teammates to ensure a superior guest experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience or related industry experience.
• High-school diploma preferred.
• State Food Handler Certification required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through the ordering process and enter items into the POS accurately.
• Deliver completed items to guests and ensure their needs are met throughout the experience.
• Present checks in a timely manner and process payments.
• Collaborate with other service positions to ensure a smooth guest experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.

Requirements

• Full time (30 hours or more) or part time position (30 hours or less) that requires a flexible schedule, often working weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Normal shifts include as early as 7 a.m. and as late as 2 a.m. and can fluctuate often
• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant experience; combined industry experience will be considered
• High-school diploma preferred
• State Food Handler’s Certification is required
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required
