Job summary

Clarendale Six Corners in Chicago is recruiting a hospitality-focused Dining Room Server to join our culinary team. This role provides full-scope, hands-on serving functions within the community and supports a warm, inviting dining atmosphere.

Schedule: Part-time opportunities, 6:00am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:00pm, 4:30pm-8:30pm, or 11:30-8:30pm. Salary starting at $18/hour. Benefits include a 401k with employer match, health/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, paid time off, and Daily Pay.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school completed is required.
• Experience in food service preferred.
• Experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness, sanitation, and organization standards.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards.
• Maintain dining room appearance and presentation at all times.
• Set tables and manage clean, orderly workstations; take orders and provide items with courtesy.
• Serve customers with proper etiquette and create an inviting atmosphere.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
