Job summary

Clarendale of Mokena seeks a friendly Dining Room Server to join our senior living team. Part-time or full-time roles are available with every other weekend requirement. No late nights, a welcoming dining atmosphere, and a supportive work culture are emphasized.

Responsibilities include setting tables, taking orders, serving with proper etiquette, and maintaining cleanliness and proper presentation. Prior food service experience and experience with seniors are preferred. Starting at $16/hr.

Qualifications

• Sophomore year of high school completed.
• Experience in food service is preferred.
• Experience in working with seniors is preferred.

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order; take orders and provide service graciously.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Dining Room Server:

• Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
• Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
• Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
• Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take orders, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
• Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Minimum completion of sophomore year in high school required
• Experience in food service work preferred
• Experience in working with seniors preferred
