Job summary

Postino is opening a new Charlotte location in Plaza Midwood and is hiring servers to join a fun, energetic team. You will guide guests through ordering, manage orders in the POS, deliver items, and help ensure an exceptional dining experience while earning a tipped wage and working with a collaborative team.

The role offers full-time and part-time opportunities with competitive wages, weekly pay, and a range of benefits designed to support team members in a busy, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience required or combined industry experience considered.
• High-school diploma preferred.
• State Food Handler's Management Certification is required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver full-service experience to guests by guiding through ordering, delivering items, and handling payments.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system and present checks in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with team to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.

Postino is disrupting the wine bar segment. Our vibe is fun, eclectic, inspiring yet familiar surroundings, offering high quality yet approachable wines paired with fresh and colorful bruschetta boards built for sharing. The menu is designed for sharing and pairing with our amazing wines with options for everyone.

Server / Waiter / Waitress

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
