Job summary

Postino WineCafe in Charlotte's Plaza Midwood is hiring a Server to join our NEW OPENING team. You'll guide guests through ordering, enter items in the POS, and deliver meals and drinks with a smile.

This tipped position offers competitive hourly wages plus tips, 1 year of full-service restaurant experience preferred, and benefits including meal discounts, weekly pay, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• The position requires 1 year of full-service restaurant experience.
• High-school diploma preferred.
• State Food Handler's Management Certification is required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a full service experience by guiding guests through ordering and beverage selections.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and deliver items to tables.
• Present checks in a timely manner and process payments.
• Collaborate with fellow service staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Postino is disrupting the wine bar segment. Our vibe is fun, eclectic, inspiring yet familiar surroundings, offering high quality yet approachable wines paired with fresh and colorful bruschetta boards built for sharing. The menu is designed for sharing and pairing with our amazing wines with options for everyone.

Server / Waiter / Waitress

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
