Job Description:

Japango on Pearl Street is seeking a full-time, experienced server. Sushi experience is beneficial, but we will consider any exceptional candidate. We are looking for a charismatic individual with a passion for food who is eager to expand their knowledge of Japanese cuisine, beverages, and culture. The ability to learn quickly and deliver a highly professional level of service in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications:

• Full availability and flexibility of schedule; we do not consider candidates with other current or upcoming obligations (school, second job, etc.) and do not hire seasonal/summer-only servers.
• A mature, team-oriented attitude
• Minimum of 2 years of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
• Fundamental knowledge of classic and craft cocktails, wine, beer, and sake
• Strong work ethic and a guest-first approach
• Extremely detail-oriented and organized
• Sense of urgency and professionalism in handling stress
