Job summary

Postino WineCafe in Austin is seeking a Server to deliver a full-service experience, guiding guests from ordering to payment. You will work with a team to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain hospitality standards with accurate POS entries and timely service.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of server experience, a high school diploma, and required certifications. Enjoy meal discounts, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of full-service restaurant experience; combined industry experience will be considered.
• High-school diploma preferred.
• State Food Handler’s Management Certification is required.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Guide guests through ordering food and beverages and accurately enter items into the POS system.
• Deliver completed items to guests and present the check in a timely manner.
• Complete payment and ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
• Work with other service positions to maintain high hospitality standards.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Server your responsibility is to work in a team setting to deliver a full service experience to guests by guiding guests through the process of ordering food and beverages, accurately entering the items into the POS system, delivering completed items to the guest, presenting the check in a timely manner and completing payment. This position works with other service positions to ensure guests have everything they need throughout their experience.
