30hop Restaurant & Bar in Ankeny, IA is hiring servers to join our front of house team. We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy a fast-paced restaurant environment and deliver a great Guest experience.

Fully trained servers earn $4.35 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning. Full-time and part-time opportunities available, with PM availability expected Monday-Wednesday and Saturday-Sunday.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous serving experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages.
• Must obtain Iowa Program for Alcohol Compliance Training (I-PACT) certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
• Answer questions and help guests make food and beverage selections.
• Enter orders accurately and communicate with kitchen and bar team members.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Check in with guests and respond professionally to questions or concerns.
• Process payments accurately.
• Maintain clean, organized dining and service areas.
• Reset tables and complete assigned side work.
• Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing responsibilities.
• Follow established food safety and sanitation practices.
• Support other team members to keep service moving during high-volume periods.

As a Server at 30hop, you'll help Guests feel welcome, guide them through our food and beverage offerings, and work alongside the kitchen, bar, and front of house teams to keep service running smoothly.
