30hop in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring Hosts and Food Runners to join our front-of-house team. We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy connecting with Guests and working as part of a busy restaurant team.

In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming experience for our Guests while supporting the service team and keeping things running smoothly throughout each shift. Fully trained Support Staff earn $8.10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Friendly and Guest-focused.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Dependable and comfortable working as part of a team.
• Willingness to support different areas of the restaurant as needed.
• Saturday availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Guests and help create a friendly first impression.
• Seat Guests while helping manage restaurant flow and waitlists.
• Provide accurate wait times and communicate updates to Guests.
• Assist with reservations, phone inquiries, and to-go orders.
• Coordinate with Servers and other team members to keep the dining room running smoothly.
• Deliver food to Guests accurately and promptly.
• Communicate with kitchen and service teams to support timely food delivery.
• Reset tables and help maintain clean, organized dining areas.
• Monitor the cleanliness of restrooms and other Guest-facing areas.
• Assist teammates during busy periods and throughout service.
• Complete opening, closing, and other assigned duties.

30hop is a full-service American restaurant and bar with locations across Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. We’re known for great food, craft beer, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere. Our teams are at the heart of what we do and help create a great experience for our Guests every day.

Pay

Fully trained Support Staff earn $8.10 per hour plus tips, with tip payouts distributed the following morning.

Schedule & Availability

• Shifts typically range from 4-8 hours
• Must be available to work daytime shifts between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
