Job summary

TheSerger Sewing Operator position is located inClaremont, NC. You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will....

  • Read and understand production tickets and be able to interpret simple sewing instructions commonly placed in a sewing manual.
  • Operate serger sewing machine to sew inside border stitching on upholstery fabric while maintaining quality standards and production specifications.
  • Making sure the sewing is straight and in alignment with cover pattern with no dropped stitches.

  • Experience in production of upper-end upholstery fabric sewing in an upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
  • Work in a manufacturing and fast-paced environment.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good communication skills-oral and written.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
